The 2013 extension and refurbishment of the Woolworths Supermarket located in Charnwood, ACT was a joint project performed by the Principal Contractor from Sydney and Specialist Labour Hire and Recruitment Company, Employ Me Pty Ltd, Canberra Office.

The Principal Contractor was required to implement the design, refurbish and extent the existing Supermarket to increase the floor footprint 2-fold.  Not only was the refurbishment and building extension on a tight timeframe but the additional challenges faced was that normal trading hours and ongoing optimal customer shopping experiences was to be maintained.

After extensive research on possible local and interstate Trade and Staffing Solutions, the Contractor partnered with the Employ Me Canberra Team to supply the required Trade and Labour Solutions for the Refurbishment and Building Extension Project.

The Refurbishment and Extension Project required the complete range of Trade and Labour Solutions from the Employ Me Canberra Team covering staged demolition, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, steel fixing, concreting, brick and block laying, refurbishment, landscaping and cleaning works. Flexible Cooperation and Variable Shift Implementation was managed on behalf by the Employ Me Canberra Office ensure the project was completed on budget and within the specified time frames.

The successful Woolworths Extension and  Refurbishment Project was completed in December 2013, within budget and ahead of schedule.
